Truck Crash on the Dolphin Expressway
A collision occurred on the entrance ramp from the Dolphin Expressway to the Palmetto Expressway involving a large truck. Emergency responders, including Florida Highway Patrol officers and firefighters, arrived at the scene to assess the damage to the tractor-trailer, which was hanging over the guardrail. The truck lost control and crashed into the guardrail due to improper navigation of a curve, according to FHP.
Aerial footage from 7Skyforce showed the damaged trailer suspended on the ramp’s guardrail, but the driver of the truck was unharmed. The ramp had to be closed for a significant amount of time while debris was cleared and the container was removed. However, it has since reopened for northbound traffic.
