Investigation Underway in West Miami-Dade

In a distressing incident, a man has been discovered deceased, trapped beneath a vehicle in Southwest Miami-Dade. The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) has launched an investigation into this tragic event, which unfolded on a Monday afternoon.

Discovery of the Deceased

Around 1:30 p.m., law enforcement officers responded to the scene situated in the 1300 block of SW 122 Avenue. Upon arrival, they encountered an adult male who was unresponsive and pinned underneath a vehicle. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel also arrived at the location, sadly confirming the man’s passing.

Homicide Detectives Take Over

MDPD’s Homicide detectives have assumed control of the inquiry. Presently, the incident is categorized as an unclassified death investigation, pending the release of investigative findings and the results of the autopsy conducted by the Medical Examiner.
