CARACAS – Official Results of the 2024 Elections in Venezuela: Nicolás Maduro Reelected with 51.2% of the Votes Amid Fraud Allegations by Opposition
The National Electoral Commission declared the ruling party victorious. With 80% of the votes counted, they considered the trend irreversible. Voter turnout was 59%. Opposition spokespeople reacted with fraud allegations. Over 21 million Venezuelans were eligible to vote, and on Sunday, they reelected the current president, Nicolás Maduro, with 51.2% of the votes. The main opposition candidate, Edmundo González, received 44.2%.
