Fatal Crash on I-95 in Fort Lauderdale Claims Woman’s Life, Injures Three Others
A tragic chain-reaction collision involving six vehicles on Interstate 95 in Fort Lauderdale resulted in the death of a woman and injuries to three individuals. The incident occurred early Sunday morning near State Road 84, prompting a significant highway closure. The accident occurred around 4 a.m. and involved a black Kia Forte, a black Lexus sedan, a silver Cadillac ATS, a black Ford Explorer, a red Kia, and a black Mercedes-Benz SUV. A 23-year-old woman exited her Kia Forte to assist victims when she was struck by the Cadillac ATS. The driver of the ATS sustained critical injuries, and two passengers also suffered injuries. The crash led to a complete shutdown of southbound lanes, diverting traffic to Interstate 595 for several hours. Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
