Freight Train Slams into Car in Miami
A collision between two vehicles in downtown Miami resulted in a freight train colliding with one of the cars. The incident occurred near Northwest Eighth Street and First Avenue around 8 p.m. on Friday.
According to the City of Miami Fire Rescue, after the crash, one of the drivers was inspecting their vehicle when it malfunctioned and ended up stuck on the railroad tracks. Upon hearing the train approaching, the driver quickly moved out of harm’s way, narrowly avoiding a collision, but the train struck the car moments later.
