A chaotic chain of events unfolded late Thursday night on State Road 836 (Dolphin Expressway) in Miami, resulting in a suspect being taken into custody after a Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO)-involved crash.
Authorities reported that MDSO narcotics detectives were conducting an investigation when the suspect intentionally struck a detective’s vehicle and fled the scene. The crash, which occurred around 9:55 p.m., led to a high-speed police pursuit through Miami streets before concluding on SR 836 near Northwest 12th Avenue.
