NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. – Early Wednesday morning, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) were called to the scene of an accident in which a police was involved in a crash near Northwest 95th Street and 29th Avenue.
The incident happened just after 6:30 a.m. when a red car struck the driver’s side of a Miami-Dade Schools police cruiser, forcing it into a nearby fence. The red car sustained heavy front-end damage, and both vehicles came to a stop just before entering a residential yard. A silver vehicle was also seen nearby, though its involvement remains uncertain.
MDFR paramedics arrived swiftly, assessing and treating all individuals at the scene. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
Due to the ongoing investigation, roads in the area remain closed, and drivers are urged to seek alternative routes to avoid delays. Recommended detours include Northwest 103rd Street, Northwest 79th Street, and Northwest 22nd Avenue. East-west commuters may consider using State Road 112 for smoother travel.
