Train Strikes Pedestrian in Aventura
The Aventura Police Department has released a traffic alert in response to a pedestrian being hit by a Brightline train near Biscayne Boulevard. This has caused a part of the road to be closed, affecting the southbound lanes of Biscayne Boulevard from 199th Street to 195th Street. The collision has created a significant traffic hazard, leading law enforcement officials to reduce the southbound lanes to one lane.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes until the situation is resolved. The cause of the accident has not yet been disclosed by authorities, and an investigation is currently ongoing. News provided by 7 News Miami.
