The family returned to the Walmart to formally announce the legal action, stating that the incident was deeply traumatic. He was shot multiple times by the shooter, who fled the store but was later apprehended by investigators.
She recalled the events after the shooting, recounted how he attempted to intervene in the attack, highlighting his character as a caring man devoted to his family. He had aspirations of starting his own restaurant and left behind two children, one of whom was only four months old at the time of his death.
